This page will be used for discussing the various apps we try out. We will try to describe the app, discuss pros and cons of the app for our specific purpose, and decide whether or not we recommend it or not.
iBooks continues to be the core of my (the resident English teacher) hopes for using iPads in the classroom. The number of classics avalable has already expanded our library by a considerable margin, and the next step will be to see how easy it is to share books between iPads. The goal will be to have a set of iPads (20) that all have the same books in their iBooks, but without having to purchase the iBook 20 times. We'll continue to work on this and we'll check back as we figure things out.
